Terms of Service

The Style Lab, LLC provides software that stylists use to fit, plan and place orders for their clients, and that brands use to sell made-to-order clothing. We are not the seller of the garments ordered through it.

Each brand on the platform is an independent business and is the seller and merchant of record for its own garments. The brand takes your payment, fulfils your order, and sets its own returns, exchange and warranty terms. Its name — not ours — appears on your card statement.

If a cart contains garments from more than one brand, each brand charges you separately for its own items, and you may see more than one line on your statement.

Accounts are created by you or set up by a stylist working with you. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and keep your contact and shipping information accurate — we use it to reach you and to deliver what you order.

Your account works across the brands on the platform. Closing it ends your access to all of them.

Garments are cut and made after you order them, to measurements and options chosen for you. Nothing is picked off a shelf.

That has a consequence worth stating plainly: a garment made to your measurements and choices is not returnable in the way a stock item would be. Putting something right usually means a remake or an alteration. Our remakes and returns standards set out what every brand on the platform offers, including the 14-day window to raise a fit or construction issue. A brand may offer more than that; it may not offer less. Production times vary by garment and are estimates rather than guarantees.

We use the measurements and preferences recorded on your profile to make your garments. If those are inaccurate or out of date, the fit will reflect that. Tell your stylist when something changes.

Stylists are independent contractors, not employees of Style Lab or of any brand. They advise you and place orders on your behalf with your agreement. Style Lab is not responsible for personal advice a stylist gives you.

Payment cards are stored securely with our payment processor, Stripe, and are charged by the brand selling to you. By saving a card and agreeing at the time, you authorise the brand to charge it for orders you or your stylist place on your behalf.

Prices are shown before you order. Taxes and shipping are applied as required.

Use the platform lawfully. Do not attempt to access other people’s accounts or information, interfere with the service, or copy the catalogue, imagery or other content for use elsewhere.

The platform, its software and its design are owned by Style Lab. Brand names, garment designs, photography and related material belong to the brands. Nothing here transfers any of it to you.

We work to keep the platform running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change or discontinue features.

The platform is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Style Lab is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability relating to the platform is limited to the amount you paid in respect of the order concerned.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects your rights against the brand that sold you a garment.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

We may update these terms. The date above shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the platform after a change means accepting the updated terms.
